The Parish Council previously announced that a vacancy had arisen for a Councillor following the resignation of Judith Kinloch and the first stage of the process was to see if there was a demand among residents for an election to take place.

There have been no requests for an election which means that the process now turns to one of co-option. Interested persons who would like to be considered for this important role serving the local community should contact the chairman, David Ireland, on diatmpc@gmail.com or the Clerk, Trevor Haylett, on clerkatmpc@gmail.com. If more than one candidate comes forward then the existing six Councillors get to choose their preferred candidate.
