Winter
Winter
During the dark days of December and early January the gardens sleep, occasionally the trees are dusted by snow and on a really cold night the pond might freeze over and confuse the geese.
Then in late January it begins to wake as the first snowdrop and aconite push upwards and burst into flower followed by patches of brilliant blue scilla.
