Spring
Spring
In Spring the gardens come alive with colour. The first Primroses and daffodils appear in March and by late April and early May, as these die back, the gardens are carpeted with bluebells and wild garlic with patches of cowslips, Welsh poppies, red campion and dog tooth violets.
At the end of April and the beginning of May, among the trees and shrubs, the crab apples, rhododendrons, weigelia, horse chestnut and laburnum burst into flower.
