Grand Linton Litter Picks

🌿🀝 Help Keep Our Village Beautiful

Linton is a beautiful rural parish, renowned for its picturesque countryside, quiet lanes and scenic public footpaths. Unfortunately, litter continues to find its way into our hedgerows, roadsides and open spaces, spoiling the environment and posing a risk to wildlife.

To help tackle this problem, Linton Parish Council organises four community litter picks each year, bringing together volunteers who care about keeping our village clean, safe and attractive for everyone.

Since the initiative began, our volunteers have covered every road within the parish, many public footpaths and surrounding countryside, collecting hundreds of bags of litter that would otherwise have remained in our local environment.

Whether you're a regular volunteer or would like to join us for the first time, everyone is welcome.
