Linton Allotments

Located along Wheelers Lane in the heart of Linton, Linton Allotments provide a peaceful and welcoming space where residents can enjoy growing their own fruit, vegetables, herbs and flowers while becoming part of a friendly community of local gardeners.

Our sheltered, sunny site is home to 27 well-maintained plots, all with access to a mains water supply, creating excellent growing conditions throughout the year. Whether you're an experienced gardener or taking on your very first allotment, you'll find plenty of support and inspiration from fellow plot holders.

Throughout the seasons our allotments are bursting with produce. From climbing runner beans and colourful sunflowers to fragrant herbs, juicy apples, apricots, strawberries, raspberries and rhubarb, every plot reflects the enthusiasm and hard work of its tenant. Many members enjoy trying new varieties and sharing gardening advice, helping everyone get the most from their allotment.

Linton Allotments are about much more than growing food. We have a welcoming and sociable community where neighbours become friends. We regularly hold seed and plant swap events, giving members the opportunity to exchange plants, seeds and gardening tips while enjoying a cup of tea and homemade cake together.

Each November we also hold our annual Autumn Tidy Up Day, when plot holders work together to maintain the site, clear shared areas and finish the day with a traditional bonfire. It's a fantastic community event and a great way to prepare the allotments for the winter months.

Whether you're looking to grow fresh, seasonal produce, spend more time outdoors, support local wildlife or simply enjoy the wellbeing benefits that gardening brings, Linton Allotments offer something for everyone.
