Ladies Fixtures 2026

Ladies Day - 6th June

What a wonderful afternoon thanks to the Ladies' Captain, Bobby Bruce.  The afternoon started with a Bobby Spider, a slight alternative to a standard spider, and this was won by Carole Ash.  18 ladies took part in triples games, playing 4 ends then swapping opponents.

After three rounds of 4 ends the weather won and the fourth round was abandoned in favour of getting warm and dry.  Sheila Wright, Cathy from Southminster and Brenda Ward won the game with a team score of 19.  The ladies and guests were then served a very welcome hot chicken dinner, expertly cooked by Richard Walker and aided in the kitchen by Sandra McDonagh and served by the men of the club.

Everyone involved in making the day a success were warmly thanked, and rewarded by Bobby.
