The Ladies Fixtures 2025

Chelmer Triples League - the Ladies finished second in the league during 2024 which was a very good achievement as this was only the second year of entering the League.

May

Wednesday 7th Home v Danbury - first game of the season for the Ladies who hosted the team from Danbury.  A very enjoyable afternoon was held but unfortunately Maldon came second on the day with Danbury winning on both rinks with a total score of 38 points to Danbury and 30 to Maldon.
Friday 16th        Away v Stock
Saturday 31st    Home v Chelmsford - came cancelled and to be rearranged. 

June

Saturday 7th was Ladies Day - Ladies Captain, Cherry Richardson, welcomed Lady members of the Club and her guests to take part in 4 rounds of 4 ends bowls.  Despite the dreadful weather forecast the game was completed without a drop of rain falling.  All money raised will go to the Alzheimer's Society.  After the game all in attendance enjoyed an excellent afternoon tea where the men served the tea.  Thanks to everyone involved.  

Monday 16th      Away v Billericay - a good win for Maldon who received 6 points as a result of winning on both rinks with a total score of 46-30.

Wednesday 14th Home v Burnham - on a lovely sunny afternoon Maldon welcomed players from Burnham.  Maldon Ladies managed to win 33 shots to 26.  The evening concluded with a delicious tea prepared by the Maldon Ladies.

Wednesday 11th  Away v Tillingham - very enjoyable afternoon with Maldon winning on one rink but coming second on the other rink.  However, overall Maldon won by 1 shot.
