New Members

New members, experienced and beginners, will be made very welcome at Maldon but will be required to have an informal interview before going on the green to bowl. All new players to have a minimum of three coaching sessions. 

Beginners will need no special clothing or equipment to start, other than a pair of flat-bottomed shoes (to prevent damage to the green), and tuition will be free. We have a number of sets of bowls/woods that we use to teach new bowlers.

The Management Committee has decided that new members will receive a substantial discount to their first year subscription so that starting costs can be kept to a minimum.
