TEMPORARY CLOSURE OF BURTON ROAD, WEST BEXINGTON
Dorset Council has made an Order under Section 14(1) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
All vehicles will be prohibited from proceeding along Burton Road, West Bexington, between The Old Coastguards and a point approximately 935 metres northwest.
The Order is required to comply with health and safety regulations which ensure the provision of safe working areas and minimise the likelihood of danger to highway users.
The Order will come into operation on 08 May 2026 and will remain in force for a period of 18 months.
This closure is required for health and safety reasons due to an unsafe, collapsed highway.
