Rusthall Bonfire and Fete Group - Upcoming Events!
Rusthall Parish Council
The Rusthall Bonfire and Fete Group have a busy few months coming up with events and activities. Everyone is welcome to enjoy or join our growing team.
Community Coffee
Pop along to the URC Hall from 9am till 12 Noon to enjoy some home made cake, hot drinks and meet up with friends or make new friends locally.

This month we have Ziggy's fruit and veg market, Lifeboats and Homemade Cards, All Cake and Coffee is £1.00, and we have our raffle and 100 Square game.
EGM
We are hosting an EGM at Rusthall Club at 7.30pm on Tuesday 3rd October, this is for anyone wishing to join our group to assist with organsing and volunteering at our events.
Rusthall Bonfire, Torchlight, and Fireworks Display.
We are hosting this annual event on Saturday 28th October,
We can take donations for natural materials only for the Bonfire from 8am on the day only. In addition if anyone would like to join our Bonfire Building Team please do come along on the day.
We are organising a whole village and commons litter pick and welcoming anyone wishing to volunteer to clear their roads or maybe a couple of others too to contact us as below, this will be taking place between 8am-4pm on the 28th October.
If anyone can help with marshalling the procession or road closure this would be much appreciated as we need in excess of 50 volunteers to run this event. Please contact to let us know if you can make it and come along to St Paul's Church Centre at 6pm.
At 2pm on the 28th October we are planting a memorial tree for Muriel Reeves who sadly passed away in December 2023. Muriel was an active member of the community and was a key figure with the Bonfire and Fete Group for many years having been part of the founding team for the Bonfire. If anyone would like to join us when planting the tree please do come along to the St Pauls Church Centre at 1.45pm. If anyone needs assistance in attending or you would like to attend please do let us know for numbers.
For guest coming along to Bonfire Night; The torches are on sale from 7.00pm-7.25pm, The procession will leave at 7.30pm, the fireworks will commence when the parade returns at approx 8.15pm and are expected to last 15 minutes.
Torches will be on sale for £3.00 in Common View and there will be buckets for donations, please do look out for official buckets only.
Please note the following roads will be closed from 7pm until approx 9pm, Common View, High St, Southwood Road, Parsonage Road, Erskine Park Road, Manor Road.
