Welcome to Northern Fenix Parrot Rescue

Where old life ends and new life begins.

Northern Fenix Parrot Rescue is a registered charity based in Ballymoney, Northern Ireland, dedicated to giving parrots and other companion birds a safe place when they can no longer remain in their current homes.

We provide surrendered and rescued birds with appropriate care, rehabilitation and assessment before considering them for adoption. Every bird is treated as an individual, and our priority is finding the right future for them — not simply the quickest home.

Birds coming into our care are assessed and, where appropriate, receive veterinary checks and DNA sexing before adoption.

We also provide information and support to help promote responsible parrot ownership and better understanding of the lifelong commitment involved in caring for these intelligent and complex birds.
