Their New Beginnings – Page 4 ❤️
Pacco’s New Beginning 💚🦜
Pacco — Blue Pallid Quaker | Adopted 29 March 2026
Pacco came into the care of Northern Fenix after previously being used as a breeding bird. When he arrived, he was a quiet, nervous little boy who had been bullied within his previous flock and had experienced very little positive human interaction.
Born on 30 May 2019, Pacco was six years old when he came into our care.
We knew from the beginning that his rehabilitation couldn't be rushed. He needed time to decompress, feel safe and learn that human interaction could be something positive.
Slowly, we began to see the real Pacco emerge. 💚
His condition improved, he began finding his voice and his confidence gradually grew. One of his biggest milestones came when this once hand-shy little bird began accepting gentle affection and allowing us to hold him.
Every small step represented something much bigger — trust.
Then came the moment all the patience was for.
On 29 March 2026, Pacco left Northern Fenix for his new home and began the next chapter of his life. 🏡🦜
Pacco's journey is a wonderful example of what rescue and rehabilitation are all about. It isn't about how quickly a bird changes; it's about giving them the time, patience and security they need to progress at their own pace.
Good luck in your new beginning, Pacco. You'll always be part of the Northern Fenix family. 💚
Where old life ends and new life begins.
