Their New Beginnings ❤️
Their New Beginnings 💗
Every bird who comes through the doors of Northern Fenix Parrot Rescue has their own story.
Some come to us needing time to recover, some need help learning to trust again, and others simply need the chance to find the right home.
This page celebrates the birds who have completed their journey with us and found their new beginnings. 🦜❤️
From rescue and rehabilitation to the moment they leave for their new home, every successful adoption is why we do what we do.

Joey’s New Beginning 🐦💗
Joey — Budgie | Adopted 25 September 2026
Joey’s journey with Northern Fenix began before the rescue was officially established. Very little was known about his early history, but we knew this little budgie had already been through quite a lot.
Joey has one good foot, while his other foot has only one toe, but he has never allowed this to stop him from enjoying life or showing his wonderful little personality.
After previously leaving our care, Joey returned to Northern Fenix in August 2026 with a badly bleeding wing and required emergency veterinary attention. He then remained with us through quarantine, treatment and recovery while we made sure he was completely ready for his next chapter.
Following a further veterinary check, Joey's wing was fully healed and he was officially given the all-clear. ❤️
Then, on 25 September 2026, the day we'd been waiting for arrived.
Joey found his new home. 🏡🐦
After everything this wee character has been through, seeing him leave Northern Fenix healthy, safe and ready to begin the next chapter of his life is exactly what rescue is all about.
Good luck, Joey. We hope your new beginning is filled with all the love and happiness you deserve. 💗

Connie’s New Beginning 🦜💚
Connie — Conure | Adopted 21 August 2026 | Went Home 24 September 2026
Beautiful Connie captured plenty of hearts during his time with Northern Fenix.
When Connie first came into our care, we believed he was a little girl — but his DNA results eventually gave us a surprise and confirmed that Connie was actually a wee boy! 💙
On 21 August 2026, we were delighted to announce that Connie had been adopted and had found his new home.
He remained with Northern Fenix for a little longer before the big day finally arrived. On 24 September 2026, Connie was ready to leave our care and begin the next chapter of his life. 🏡💚
Watching one of our birds leave is always a mixture of emotions. We become attached to every little character who comes through our doors, but seeing them safe, loved and heading to the right home is exactly what rescue is all about.
Good luck, Connie. We hope your new beginning brings you many happy years filled with love, companionship and plenty of adventures. 💚🦜

Rio & Ivy’s New Beginning 🦜🦜💗
Rio & Ivy — Caiques | Adopted 29 August 2026
Rio and Ivy came into the care of Northern Fenix together, and one of the most important things for us was finding them a home where their journey could continue side by side.
On 29 August 2026, that day arrived. Rio and Ivy were adopted together and began the next chapter of their lives. 🏡❤️
These two little characters brought plenty of personality to Northern Fenix, and seeing them leave together for a loving home was a very special moment for us.
Our responsibility doesn't simply end when a bird is adopted. Rio and Ivy remain part of the Northern Fenix family, with ongoing support and aftercare available to their new family.
We couldn't have wished for a better new beginning for this wonderful pair. 💚
