Marlbrook Lane/Old Birmingham Road

Photograph copyright Simon Woolford

The first photograph (Copyright Roy Hughes) shows the telephone kiosk in January 2009, looking in a sorry state. In 2015 Lickey & Blackwell Parish Council paid just £1 for a decommissioned telephone box to house a defibrillator, It also serves as a free book exchange, with donated books  for all ages. Lickey Community Group paid for the defibrillator signage. The bungalow in the background has been demolished and a new bungalow is being constructed in its place (2019). The second photograph copyright Simon Woolford

188 Old Birmingham Road "Magnolias"

This bungalow was once the home of Baldwin's Nursery, they were rose growers, we know they were there in the 1950s.  The land covered the site which is now Greenfield Avenue. The advert is from the Bromsgrove Messenger 30 November 1935

High House Drive

We believe the house is number 15, and the current owners have the original house sign, some where in their garage. We are looking to locate this house on High House Drive - if anyone know the house number, please let us know
