Men's Pairs

MEN'S PAIRS (4 WOODS)

The Competitions Committee allocates a handicap to each entrant, as for the Singles Handicap competition (para 15 of Competition rules). The entrants are then divided into 2 groups of equal numbers, one comprising the higher handicapped players and a second of lower handicapped players. The draw forpartners shall be made by selecting one player from each group, thus providing a reasonable balance in pairings. Entry fees shall be refunded to any entrant not drawn with a partner

Matches shall be played over 16 ends, the winner being the pair with the higher score at the completion of the 16th end. If the scores are level, an extra end shall be played to decide the winner.

If a substitute player is required, General Rule 8 shall apply.

Note: The date given for matches is the 'play by' date for that round of matches; players should agree a date and time to play the match before this date.

The Final will take place on either Saturday 06 or Sunday 07 September 2025 at the discretion of the Competition Secretary, who will arrange the schedule for Final matches, once finalists are known.
