About the Bowls Club

Whaddon Bowling Club is a member run and a truly welcoming club.  Come along and meet the friendly club members. During the summer months we play many matches, including league competitions against local clubs, members against members and visit other clubs around the county and even occasionally beyond. It doesn't stop during the winter season, we don't close, but continue with the bowling creating an indoor short mat mini league. Membership is open to anyone, come and join us whether you have played bowls before or not. If you are new to bowls Whaddon Bowling Club can provide bowling coaching from by one of our qualified coaches who are also club members. Whaddon Bowling Club opens at different times during the year, but you will always find us open on a Friday evening from 6.00pm in summer and 7.00pm in winter!  In the summer season we are open for play from 12.00 noon till dusk every day, while the bar will always be open on match days. During the winter the club doors open at 7.00pm for short mat or 7.30pm for skittles.  At Whaddon Bowling Club we also have social nights during the year and we try to make each night as enjoyable as we can.
