Club Competitions
The final matches in the 2024 Club Competitions were played out over the weekend of 07 - 08 September and featured some very close matches, particularly in the pairs events. Special mention to Mark Beaven for a clean sweep of the Men's singles trophies: only the 4th time this feat has been achieved in the club's recorded history. Many congratulations to all the winners and commiserations to those who didn't quite make it: remember that you did very well to get to this point and better luck next year!
A big thank you to David Hearle for preparing the green so well, despite the weather working hard against him, though the weekend itself proved more congenial than forecast. Thanks. too, to all who baked cakes and helped to serve the delicious teas.
