PLEASE NOTE THAT DUE TO COVID-19 PANDEMIC, PARISH COUNCIL MEETINGS HAVE RETURNED TO ONLINE MEETINGS.  UNFORTUNATELY, THIS MAKES IT DIFFICULT TO ALLOW THE PUBLIC ACCESS.

THE PUBLIC CAN STILL SUBMIT ITEMS FOR DISCUSSION TO THE PARISH CLERK 3 DAYS PRIOR TO THE MEETING.

Note:  From 25 March 2020 there was a lockdown due to the COVID-19 pandemic.  The Parish Council could not have a meeting on 25 March 2020 as meetings of more than 2 people were banned by the Government.  The decision was taken for future meetings to take place using Whatsapp and later Facebook Messenger Group so Councillors could remain in their own homes and any pressing issues could be dealt with, enabling the Parish Council to continue running.  This is an emergency measure which will continue until the COVID-19 pandemic is under control and any restrictions by the Government lifted.

  • Due to COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions the 24 April 2020 council meeting was held using Whatsapp to address any immediate issues arising that the council needed to deal with. 
  • Due to COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions the 27 May 2020 council meeting was held using Facebook Messenger Groups video conferencing to address any immediate issues arising that the council needed to deal with.
  • Due to COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions the 24 June 2020 council meeting was held using Facebook Messenger Groups video conferencing to address any immediate issues arising that the council needed to deal with.
  • Due to COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions the 29 July 2020 council meeting was held in Salterforth Village Hall, but no public allowed in.
  • Due to COVID-19 and lockdown restrictions the 28 August 2020 council meeting was held in Salterforth Village Hall, but no public allowed in.
