Am I dreaming ?

Friday started with no great expectations of what the day would bring, apart from the likelihood of a good soaking, but I knew being out with Warwick and Ray would be enough to brighten up anybody’s day. As it turned out we all had a very nice day weather wise and the course was in fine shape.

Starting the round with my standard 6 on the par 4 first hole, grateful for nothing worse, managed a birdie on the par 3, bonus 5 points, carried on through the first nine nothing spectacular, but with my 28 handicap managed a few 3 pointers and made the turn with 18 points, not too shabby I thought.

On to the second nine, plugged away much the same and somehow scrapped, don’t know how, 20 points, I was more surprised than anything else.

It was nice to see a few of the guy’s and it turned out not a bad day after all.
