CLUB MATCH V. SIR THOMAS RICH'S: CANCELLED

Last night I received a phone call from the match secretary of Sir Thomas Rich's apologising that they could not raise enough players from their club to fulfil the fixture and that, unfortunately, they would have to cancel.

I am, of course, disappointed like you all will be that we now have no fixtures this weekend. However, it does illustrate the fact that a lot of clubs are in the same boat as we are when it comes to availability.

I will continue to put availability sheets up on the notice board at the club for all forthcoming fixtures and hope that they are full of names by the Monday before the fixture.

However, I also know that a lot of people are not visiting the club on a regular basis so I would suggest to all members that you check your fixture list (which you should al have a copy of) and if there is a game you can play and you cannot get to the club to put your name down then contact me by phone, text or email and I will add your name.

Let's just hope that we can get enough names on the lists for the remaining 6 Club Friendlies.
