SHORT MAT SEASON 2022-23

The end of the outdoor season is about 6 weeks away now, so it’s time to think about your winter bowling entertainment. Entries are therefore invited for the Short Mat Leagues and Knockout competitions, which will begin again on Friday 14 October 2022.

Pairs League games will be played on Friday evenings and as before there will be 2 divisions depending on number of entries.

Triples League games will be played on Wednesday evenings fortnightly (min 6 teams to form a league).

Towards the end of the season we will play the knockout competitions, normally on Friday evenings, but may be arranged for other days, if not enough spare slots are available. All fixtures will be posted on the noticeboard and the club website.

If you need the practice or to get your eye in, the regular Monday and Wednesday afternoon roll-ups will be starting as soon as the outdoor season has finished: the first sessions will be on Monday 26 September and Wednesday 28 September.

Printed entry forms are now available at the club or you can download a form from the club's website - the closing date for entries is 30 September 2022. You can e-mail forms to Andy Todd on the club's email (cheltwhaddonbc@gmail.com) or put printed forms in the box behind the bar at the club. Entry fees can be paid in cash, by cheque (please put these in the box or hand directly to Andy) or by bank transfer to the club's account.
