We have received that following appeal for volunteers to help at the BE National Finals at Leamington Spa between 10 and 27 August 2023. You can find out more about what is involved by going to the BE Volunteering page or there is a link in the article if you would like to put your name forward.

"With National Finals 2023 just around the corner, we are excited to invite you to apply for this year's volunteering at Bowls England.

As you know, our volunteers are the heartbeat of our events, and we truly appreciate your support . Your contribution is essential to the growth and success of our sport. Bowls Maker Awards

We highly value our volunteers, and as you know we introduced a special and prestigious award called the "Bowls Maker of the Year" dedicated to the Bowls England volunteers to recognize their incredible contribution to Bowls England Events. Once you are part of our volunteering team, you will be automatically considered for the award.

Allowances

We offer lunch allowance, coffee breaks, free parking, and free access to the event on the day of volunteering. However, please note that transport and accommodation costs are not covered.

Roles

Our volunteers undertake a variety of roles to ensure that players, spectators, and other key stakeholders have a memorable experience. Potential roles include media, scoring, hospitality and customer service, and relevant training will be provided where required. We need our volunteers to be flexible with the roles, as we may require your contribution across different areas for the successful delivery of the event.

We believe that volunteering at Bowls England is an exciting opportunity to be part of something bigger and to make a positive impact on the community. We would love to have you join us for this event, and we look forward to receiving your application.

Thank you for your support and commitment to Bowls England."
