County & National Mixed Games

County MIxed Fours

Terry Carline, Jack Carline, Pamela Keene and Denise Latter  played  the first round at home to 4 from Worthing Pavilion on Wed 10th July at 1800. This resulted in a good win for the Maltravers 4 of 23 shots to 15

Next round was played away at Crablands on Sunday 21st July where they achieved a great win of 25 - 15.

This puts the 4 into the Area Finals to be played 1800 on 1st August at Worthing Pavilion against a team from Rottingdean.

Going to an extra end these 4 succeeded in securing the win 17 -15.

Next Round  - Semi Finals on Thursday 8th August at Burgess Hill against Wadhurst but lost 11 - 19

 

County Pairs

Terry and Denise also played in the County Mixed Pairs. 

After a bye in the First round, they had the second round against 2 from Petworth winning 19 - 13.

Third round was played at Worthing Pavilion which they won 21 - 17.

Fourh round, this time away to the Witterings was also won with a score of 18 - 14.

This puts Terry and Denise in the quarter Finals to be played at Worthing Pavilion on Wed 31st July 1800 against a pair from Staplecross. Good luck guys 🤞This ended in  a great score of 29 - 12.

Terry & Denise are now in the Semi-Finals to be played at  Popes Mead on Monday 5th August at Popes Mead against a pair from Lindfield. This was a great game   which succeeded in a great win of 21 shots to 17,

This puts Denise and Terry into the Finals, to be played at Eastbourne on 24th August against 2 from Worthing Pavilion.

 

 

National Mixed Pairs

Denise Latter and Terry Carline had their first round drawn away to a pair from Worthing Pavilion. This was a closely fought match, played on Sat 11th May, with Terry and Denise winning 10 - 9.

Their next round was played at home against a pair from Tarring Priory on Sat 18th May - This resulted in a good win 21 shots to 9

They then played away at Pulborough but unfortunately lost 8 - 20.
