Mens Triples

There were 3 teams in the mens triples -

Terry Carline, Jack Carline and Matt Thain played at Bognor against Bognor B ... won 17 - 12.

Next round they were at home to Bognor A and won 17 - 3

Third round was at home, against 3 from Petworth, with another good win - 22 - 11 -  Petworth conceded after 16 ends

They then travelled to Southbourne for the Area Finals ... went 19 - 11 up but held on to win by 19 shots to 18. A nail-biting finish. Well done lads

The second team - Alex Stavrou, Polo and Alan Howe unfortunately  lost away to Worthing Pavilion 4 - 22 in the first round.

Third team consisting of Mike Sherwood, George Gatford and Bob Read played away to Middleton and succeeded in a  win of 14 shots to 11.

Next round for these guys was at home against a team from Pagham and they won 17 - 13.

Third round was away to Worthing Pavilion, the same team that won against Alex, Alan and Polo.

With George being away, Geoff Gair came in as substitute.

Unfortunately they lost 11 - 18, but a good run for this team.
