In the first round of the mens County 4's Jack Carline, Terry Carline. Bob Read and John Hoare played at home against a team from Petworth - very close game but lost 11 - 14
Our other team - Alan Howe, George Gatford, Mike Sherwod and Geoff Gair played away at Bognor where another close game was played but also lost 15 - 18
