Arundel Castle Trophy 23

This year the Annual Competition was held on Sunday July 30th with 3 teams from Maltravers entering.

The weather was not so kind this year with a fair amount of rain attempting to spoil the day.

However one team from Maltravers did not allow this to occur  - this was The Three Generations - Denise Latter with her son Terry Carline and grandson Jack, winning 5 out of the 6 games played, 6 ends on each. This put them into the finals against  3 from Worthing Pavilion over 4 ends. Winning the first 3 ends with 5 shots, secured the title for them with Worthing Pavilion gaining 1 point on the last end.

Picture below of the three accepting the Shield for the second year in a row, a new record.

Congratulations!!
