Reports - Other Matches

13th September -  Bennett Cup v Ingatestone Away - lost 63- 86 overall shots

A poor ingatestone green, very fast and erratic, bumpy running did not suit most of our team, who were unable to bowl at a consistent length.  We were well beaten on three of the four rinks and our tally of 6 wins now closely followed by Ingatestone's 5 wins.  A pleasant after match tea to present the cup and thanks to David Sarbutt for helping with Ingatestone's numbers.

Yates, Lansiquot, Brooker and skip Willsmer in a very close game provided our only win - behind for most of the game so an excellent effort snatching the match with a 4 on the 19th and 21-19 at the end.  Well done.

Terry, Green, Cassidy and Hyland didn't score till the 6th end and that created a 9 difference that was maintained till the end - final score loss of 13-23

Bloomfield, Aggio, Collins and Kendall were 3-18 down at 11 ends before fighting back and ending with a 16-21 loss.

Seviour, Burridge, Barrett and skip Bunce also always behind, dropping two 5's in the game to finish with a loss of 13-24
