Abba Concert

Abba Tribute Band Concert - August 2014

A tribute band concert was held in June 2014 to raise funds for the Community Centre project. A profit of well over £4,000 resulted from the evening, which proved to be a really popular early Summer event. The weather was (this time!) very kind and the concert took place on a dry, calm and warm August evening.

Many local residents provided invaluable help in organising the concert and also in donations (particular thanks to John Hackling for loaning the trailer, to the scouts for providing the tent, and to Mollie Wise for preparing the band's meal).
