Cllr Bill Wragge

Cllr Bill Wragge, Bourton-on-the-Water Parish Council

I came to the village in 1987 after 10 years in N Yorks, opening a new community hospital.  I ran the hospital here for 4 years before taking on various posts on the NHS around the county.
I have worked for the District Council for 14 years as their Health Policy Officer and hope to bring a voice for the community health and well-being into our parish partnerships. The needs of our ageing population is critical and I am a Trustee of the Moore Cottage Hospital League of Friends.  I hope we can continue to jointly fund projects on the community around isolation, befriending and dementia.  It is really encouraging to see the energy around the community hub idea and the growth of a local U3A.  Bourton continues to be a proactive village!

I sit on the Highways Committee, Youth & Well-being and the Village Environment Committees.
