Warnford Parochial Church Council has regrettably decided to cancel the Carol service at Warnford church on Sunday the 20th of December. The PCC had initially considered whether a covid-secure Carol service was possible, but recent covid infections in both West Meon school and in the wider community have led us to cancel the service this year.

We have concluded, however, that it will be possible to have a Christmas day service at 9 am as long as both the local covid situation and national guidelines remain unchanged. We have decided to ask anyone who wants to come to the service to email us in advance and we will “book seats” for individuals and then take no more “bookings” and to allow no more attendees after the church has reached its covid-secure number. The service will be a holy communion – due to covid restrictions, there will be no singing. The congregation will need to wear masks during the service and sanitise their hands on arrival. In compliance with covid legislation, a record will be kept of the names of all those who attend. (There will not be a service at Warnford church on Sunday the 27th of December).

If you wish to attend, please email andrew@gawthorpeestates.co.uk and seats will be allocated to you and friends and family that join you. The PCC would like to sincerely apologise in advance if you are unable to attend due to lack of space - turning a visitor away from our church is not something we ever want to do, but we need to make sure that those who do attend are kept safe to the best of our ability.
