The Chester Family

I am delighted that the Warnford Village website has included a link to the blog that I have put together about my family’s involvement with Warnford from 1935 to 1995. The blog is built around the archive of material collected by my father and myself to record our experience as stewards of this special place and members of the village community. It covers a range of topics including the pre-war pig-farming operation, recollections of Warnford during the war, sailing on the lake in Warnford Park, creating the Memorial Playground, saving the village Post Office and all manner of other happenings and events related to sixty wonderful years in the Meon Valley.

To access the blog please follow this link.

Very best wishes,

Rex Chester
