Covid incident at George & Falcon

The following notice has been posted on the Facebook site of the George and Falcon.

“We have had the news that a customer has visited today (Saturday 12th September) whom has since been advised they have tested positive for covid-19. It is our understanding that they sat in the garden but travelled through the building to purchase drinks. We would suggest anyone that visited this evening from 6pm should isolate or get a covid-19 test, as per government advice. The building will be deep cleaned overnight and any staff working tomorrow will be symptom free and have obtained a negative test result. We will update as necessary however unless otherwise advised we will be open tomorrow”
