The death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II

Following the sad death of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II parish churches will be open to allow people to sign condolence books and light candles, as they also thank God for her life.

Warnford church will be open between 9am and 9 pm every day to allow visitors to sign a condolence book and to light a candle. Floral tributes may also be placed in the church. It will be possible to drive a car to the church car park adjacent to the church during these times.

Prayer of thanksgiving

Gracious God, we give thanks for the life of your servant Queen Elizabeth,

for her faith and her dedication to duty.

Bless our nation as we mourn her death

And may her example continue to inspire it;

Through Jesus Christ our Lord,
