Has working from home in recent weeks shown up the limitations of your broadband connection?

Although the broadband speed in the village got faster with the new fibre connection last August, many of you who live further away from the "green box" on the A32 have not benefitted much from this and are still struggling with slow and unreliable broadband.

Hampshire County Council have launched a new scheme to improve rural broadband including some new funding. To take advantage of the scheme (and get the funding) people and/or businesses need to combine as it is not open to individual premises, so if you are interested, do discuss this with your neighbours. If there is anyone in the village who might like to champion this initiative then please contact Lucy Hutchinson.

Please note that the funding will be allocated on a ‘first come, first served basis’.
